I Lost all the balls (AND THE Ad paywall) I had from over 6 years of my entire high school and college life. Then they do the “pass” and “lives”. Only good thing from the worst update of all time is “retrieve” button

if i could give zero stars, i would. i played this game since 2015, and even played the other tans (thankfully, i still have those, and they’re actually good) but the updates that have been made to the app are so disappointing. the original bbtan was so much better, and the fact that we’ll never have that again is heart wrenching. it’s not the same, and it’s not fun anymore.

Worst update in the history of app updates. The original game is a classic. I have never been more disappointed when opening an app.

The game was one of the few genuine games left on the App Store. Now it’s been reduced to slop just like every other game. I actually had respect for this company. I don’t understand how any amount of advertising money is worth ruining your reputation over. So sad.

I bought the small ball and it never gave it to me, but it took my money. Not cool.

This game used to rock

the art style was iconic. now the screen is smaller and ugly. rip. the nostalgia has worn off. not worth playing anymore. also i hate the fast forwarding of balls when they’re not even done hitting the boxes. that’s like half the reason why the game is satisfying. brain rot.

Way too many ads, pay to play, money, money, and money. Don’t download.

Ruined the game with the update

I'm deleting this game that I've enjoyed playing for years. The developers of this game can be happy now. It's the end of an iconic game. I don't need it on my phone anymore. The worst update I've ever seen! I wouldn't even want to give it 1 star….

I opened bbtan and noticed that it had levels and so I started playing them and at first I liked it and I got a reward while playing. It’s called golden aim and it lets you see more of where your balls will go for three levels but it was so glitched that I couldn’t get my balls to go where I was aiming and I thought that I would get it again even after it went away so I just stopped playing the levels. Then I saw it had endless mode just like the original one so I started playing it and it also was glitched because of the lock and key blocks when the four spaces block replaced itself with another block with the key block, and you needed the key block to break the lock block so the blocks came to the bottom and made me lose when I was really far. Also, I think the game should have an amount of blocks that can touch the bottom because I keep dying to extremely low numbered blocks and it’s just annoying. But besides all that stuff, it’s still pretty fun and never repeating the same game over and over like other games.

Like most people here, I’ve been playing BBTAN since forever. I was almost tearing up after seeing the new update with overly sensitive and unprecise aim control. While speeding up the balls is great, it should only be an option, not automatic. If it’s absolutely crucial to keep this new look, please at least take back the previous aim control physics and natural ball speed. Where is the original ESSENCE of 111% BBTAN?

adss with a side of game play

Mixed feelings but very disappointed. This was the best game ever seriously, the serenity and simplicity of it was unmatched. I still have it over 7 years later because of the emotional attachment I have towards it. Now it is absolutely terrible now, this is a slap to the face by the developers to us. Do better or delete it.

The last one was perfect. Had been playing for over six years and now it’s gone. This is a different game

I haven’t checked in for quite some time. I see that you still haven’t fixed all of the horrible changes that were made. I simply can’t play this stupid game in it’s new format. Put it back exactly as it was…EXACTLY AS IT WAS 😡

As many others mentioned, the updates are terrible. No more ball vending machine? That was probably one of my favorite parts. The new mechanics with blocks having special abilities takes away from the fun also. Too bad, hopefully they can revert to the original. Bring back the vending machine at least.

The new update completely ruined the fun in this game.. in now feels as any other knock off garbage. Sadly I will not be playing unless something is changed

I don’t know what this update is but it isn’t BBTAN.. this one of the last good mobile games I’ve had on my phone for a long time. A ad every 15 seconds and a bunch of new over complicated features in gameplay. What a sad day it is.. BBTAN will probably become one of those nostalgia memories of when you could play something for more than 38 seconds without a irrelevant ad being shoved in your face.

Many of my points have been addressed in other reviews, but here’s the kicker. In the old game I bought the super small ball (whatever the smallest one is called) and clicking restore purchases on here doesn’t give me that back! What a ripoff! Plus, the lock and key blocks don’t work. Every once in a while, a key will disappear without unlocking the lock block. Then I HAVE to use a power up to get rid of it. That on top of the aim controls being bad, the art style being boring, and losing all of my previously unlocked things. The only good change was the return ball and fast-forward button. I hadn’t updated the app in years, but the app got deleted by someone else cleaning up my phone. Such a disappointment.

I used to love this game: The graphics, control, and looking at the balls bounce. The new version fast forwards the balls, the graphics changed, the bottom of the screen is cluttered. I had the game I wanted on my phone. Why did you auto-“upgrade” to something else? I want the original game back. The new one can be a different app “bbtan2” if you’d like.

Not much more needs to be said. Way too many ads. Even when you finish one ad another starts. You get an ad as soon as the game opens. Way better games out there.

If it aint broke dont fix it… well thats not the case here! The game was awesome and now its the kind of bad… feels less authentic than the BBTAN cooied out there

Your Ads have the tendency to freeze and I don’t even get my coins back? This has happened numerous times. Done now. Deleted.

I redownloaded this after a few years and got addicted again, truly loved playing this. But there were multiple glitches that would cause me to lose a life. Eventually it glitched to a point where I had a score of over 2900, and suddenly I only had 900 balls to shoot with. This has kept me from continuing to play, and no one from the customer support team has responded to my inquiry. Very disappointing.

Bring back the previous version, graphics etc. This version has no appeal. I’m done with this version after 5 minutes.

It’s one thing to change art style, but having my former progress wiped is a real bummer. Ads are more incessant than ever before—DO NOT DOWNLOAD. Find another game that sticks to their original vision and does not bend toward corporate greed.

Fun but ads

After an update, the game is unrecognizable. Different look, different feel, different mechanics, etc. Like I get making changes little by little, but a complete overhaul like they’ve done is horrible. Not even the same game. Won’t be playing any more

For a while they had fixed the problem. It’s disappointing that the mechanics had changed, but I eventually got my unlocked balls back. However, now I can only play the new “stage mode” because the original is completely broken. I’ve played this game for so long, it’s really really upsetting.

Dang never thought I’d see the day the game finally became one of the worst. I use to have many of the “ball” items collected even the Sun. Which now they sell in a “battlepass”. Might as well just not waste your time with this game at all. If they’ll just take everything away from just an update. What an actual joke.

I updated all apps in my phone, BBTAN included. I wish I would’ve never updated it because the new look, new game mechanics, and new features do not reflect the great game I used to love. 0/10 do not recommend playing game

It’s gone down hill with all the adds it’s awful and it’s glitched out I can’t continue raising my level.

Long time lover of this game but it had recently become unplayable, not only had the art style completely changed and the core gameplay had changed to rely on stupid gimmicks and power ups. But most importantly the game has been stuck on line 5 everytime i open it. even after deleting and reinstalling…. fix your game

Old version was awesome. Played it all the time and enjoyed it. It updated itself and this new version is a joke. So many ads now too. Hard to want to keep but definitely not playing like I used to. Used to be the only game I actually played on my phone.

I wish I had known the update would destroy the original game. I would never have let it update.

they legitimately ruined it with this new update. Don’t be fooled by the new graphics. There are lives now, if you lose a game you lose a life. But don’t worry you can ✨BUY✨ more lives 🙄 There is no more just press and play. There is a reason the reviews for this game LITERALLY TANKED as soon as this update was released. It is terrible and the Devs should actually be ashamed of themselves. The is garbage now. Save yourself the time, find something else.

You have to pay for everything now, and there are no vending machine things, I used to live this game but it’s terrible now.

Been a big fan of this game since 2015, never stopped playing this past 8 years. Yesterday I updated the game to it’s newer version only to be disappointed. The game ui and vibe everything is changed, it’s so commercialized that everything is about advertisement and revenue generation. I wish they bring back the older version of the game.

This game used to be a fun mindless game that you could have in the background at any time. Now you can't open the app without 3 ads being thrown in your face at a time. They scrapped the old style of the game to bring out brighter colors and threw away any progress people had made before the update. It's now level based and has the candy crush style hearts where you only have 5 lives until you can't play anymore or you have to buy hearts. I am not spending money on a game I used to mindlessly play during a long car ride, which I no longer can without waiting half an hour between each level.
